CCTV News : The 21st China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit began today in Nanning and will last until the 28th. This year's expo has added new strategic emerging topics, focusing on the latest developments in the fields of green and low carbon, digital technology, new energy and intelligent internet-connected vehicles.

Members of RCEP, or Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, include the 10 ASEAN countries along with China and Japan, covering about one-third of the world's population and trade volume. Since RCEP came into effect, policy dividends have been released continuously, promoting the deepening of economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN.

The vitality of RCEP has been released continuously, and bilateral trade has been growing rapidly. From January to July this year, China-ASEAN trade reached 544.9 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 13.1% year-on-year, and the proportion of China's total foreign trade imports and exports increased to 15%. China has remained ASEAN's largest trading partner for 13 consecutive years, and ASEAN's position as China's largest trading partner has been further consolidated.
