Golden Mica Sheet

The golden mica sheet is placed between the induction coil and magnetic yoke of the intermediate frequency furnace. It is a high-temperature resistant insulation material that can prevent short circuits between the induction coil and the furnace body.

Mica board is a plate-like material made by bonding, heating, and pressing mica paper and silicone adhesive. It has excellent insulation performance and high temperature resistance. When applied to an induction furnace, it can provide support for the furnace body and effectively protect it from short circuits.

Strong insulation performance, with a voltage breakdown resistance index of up to 20KV/mm.

Strong environmental performance, free of asbestos, produces less smoke and odor during heating, even smokeless and odorless

High bending strength, good flexibility, and not easily layered.

Mica board is mainly divided into two types. One is muscovite board, which has a silver white color and high temperature resistance characteristics: it can withstand a temperature of 500 ℃ under continuous use conditions and 850 ℃ under intermittent use conditions; One type is golden mica sheet, which presents a golden color and has a high temperature resistance level of 850 ℃ under continuous use conditions and 1050 ℃ under intermittent use conditions.

We recommend using golden mica sheets in medium frequency furnaces because they have higher high-temperature resistance, wear comparable to copper, and higher mechanical strength, which prevents delamination and splitting, and can better protect the furnace body.
