PTFE sheets
There is a PTFE sheet placed between the magnetic yoke and the inductor of the steel shell furnace, which mainly serves as insulation. Its color is the natural color of resin, with a smooth and even surface and texture.
PTFE sheets have the following characteristics:
- It is a polymer compound polymerized from tetrafluoroethylene, with extremely strong chemical stability and corrosion resistance, commonly known as the "plastic king". Currently, any known acid, alkali, salt, or oxidant cannot corrode it.
- It has strong resistance to high and low temperatures and can operate between -192 ℃ and 260 ℃ without any property changes. Even with sudden cooling and heating or alternating cold and hot operations, it still maintains its original state.
- It belongs to the solid materials with the lowest surface tension and does not adhere to any substance, so it has non stickiness
The use of PTFE sheets in intermediate frequency furnaces has the following advantages:
- Strong insulation, ensuring the safety of the furnace body
- Good thermal conductivity, which can transfer heat in the furnace and improve the heating effect of the furnace body
- Strong chemical stability, unaffected by environmental factors and free from aging during long-term continuous high-temperature operations
Precautions during use:
Before starting the furnace operation, the furnace configuration and the use of various components should be checked. For example, PTFE sheets should not be exposed to prevent flammable situations when exposed to the air.
