1, Working principle
The medium frequency induction heating furnace for forging, also known as the medium frequency heating furnace, heats the bar material through electromagnetic induction to meet the temperature requirements, and then pushes the workpiece to the forging bed for forging. The principle is to convert 50HZ AC power into medium frequency (above 300HZ to 20K HZ) AC power, and then generate eddy currents in the workpiece inside the inductor through the resonance of capacitors and induction coils, causing the free electrons of the metal itself to flow in the resistive metal body and generate heat, thus achieving the heating effect. For example, placing a metal cylinder in an induction coil with alternating medium frequency current, the metal cylinder is not in direct contact with the induction coil, and the temperature of the coil itself is already very low. However, the surface of the cylinder is heated to turn red or even melt, and the speed of this turning red and melting can be achieved by adjusting the frequency and current strength.
