Furnace capacity selection, generally the main consideration of the furnace productivity to meet the requirements of the iron needs. However, the same amount of iron, you can choose a single large-capacity furnace can also choose more than one smaller capacity of the furnace, which must be analyzed according to the actual requirements of the comparison to determine. In just sometimes need a lot of iron for the production of large-scale special pieces of occasions, it is not appropriate to choose a single large-capacity furnace, but should be in the normal production requirements under the conditions of the choice of more than one appropriate capacity of the furnace. In this way, not only can improve the flexibility and reliability of the production process, to solve the single large-capacity medium-frequency induction furnace due to accidents caused by the shutdown problem, but also can reduce the melting of a small amount of iron because of the capacity is too large to send the rated power caused by the power consumption.

Medium frequency induction furnace capacity and furnace technical and economic indicators are closely related, generally speaking, large-capacity furnace technical and economic indicators are high, this is because with the increase in furnace capacity, melting cast iron unit energy loss is relatively reduced.
