Asbestos cloth is a fabric woven from high-quality asbestos yarn.

1, The characteristics of asbestos cloth:
- Non flammability. Asbestos cloth does not burn, so it is generally used as a refractory material.
- Thermal insulation. In industry, it can be used as insulation material for materials such as air bags and machinery.
- Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion. It does not react with strong acids or bases and has good corrosion resistance.
- High temperature resistance. The softening point of asbestos cloth is close to 1700 ℃, so it is a good high-temperature resistant material.
- High tensile strength. No matter how you pull it, the asbestos cloth will not deform.
- Non magnetic and non-conductive. Capable of providing insulation.
- Low thermal conductivity. Non metallic, without thermal conductivity properties.
- Resistant to mechanical vibration. Soft texture, able to cushion mechanical vibrations.
2. Stone cotton cloth packaging:
Each roll of asbestos cloth weighs 25-50 kilograms, with each roll of the same variety and specification. Wrap the outer packaging with burlap bags or other packaging materials.
3, Single layer asbestos cloth in induction furnaces:
During the process of ramming the lining of the smelting furnace, an insulation layer needs to be laid. Remove the old furnace lining, inspect the sensors, electrical components, furnace body, and water cooling system, and after confirming that there are no abnormalities, lay a stone wool cloth material on the inside of the induction ring. The purpose of laying asbestos cloth is twofold: firstly, to increase the insulation between the induction coil and the crucible wall; secondly, to prevent the sand material from overflowing from the inductor turns during the knotting process.
